Biography:

Jayne is a skilled advocate with indepth knowledge and experience in the criminal law. She has significant expertise in the management of complex matters listed in the Children’s, County and Supreme Courts, as well as serious matters listed in the Magistrates' Court.

Jayne graduated with a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Business (double-degree) in 2012, having received a Dean's Commendation for academic excellence in her penultimate year.

Jayne is meticulous in her approach and exercises sound forensic judgement in order to advance compelling arguments on behalf of her clients. Her empathetic and approachable nature means she takes the time to understand the needs and interests of her clients in order to best advance a defence.

Prior to joining Leanne Warren & Associates, Jayne held senior management positions in the Victorian government, which included providing high-level legal advice on matters of public interest.

Jayne has a special interest in Children's Court matters, coercive examinations and major collisions.

Jayne holds membership to the LIV Criminal Law Section Executive Committee and is a sessional member of the Consultative Council on Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity (CCOPMM) Child and Adolescent Subcommittee.
