Biography:
Ashlea holds a Bachelor of Arts (Legal Studies) from Victoria University and a Juris Doctor of Law from the University of Melbourne.
Since her admission to the legal profession in February 2016, Ashlea has practiced exclusively in Criminal Law, working with the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service before joining Leanne Warren & Associates in mid-2016.
Ashlea continues to demonstrate that she is driven and passionate about achieving the best possible results for all of her clients and protecting their interests, through forensic analysis and skilled advocacy in all matters. She has also developed a strong rapport with clients and professional stakeholders, including barristers, with whom our firm works with frequently.
Ashlea appears daily in court as a solicitor-advocate in a variety of criminal and quasi-criminal matters across all jurisdictions in Victoria, including Children’s, Magistrates’, County and Supreme Courts. Ashlea also has significant experience as an instructing solicitor in the trial and appellate jurisdictions of both the County and Supreme Courts.
She is experienced in a wide range of both summary and indictable offences and specialises in sexual offences, homicide, firearm offences, serious driving offences and confiscation proceedings.
