Jacqueline Kennedy began her journey with Leanne Warren & Associates in July 2010, initially as a solicitor and quickly progressing to Partner, a role she held until 2016 before moving interstate. In September 2019, we were fortunate to welcome her back to the firm, where she continued to serve with distinction as a Senior Associate until now.

Jacqueline has been an integral part of our firm, providing unwavering support, deep legal knowledge, and a steadfast commitment to our clients and colleagues. Over the years, she has stood by us through thick and thin, mentored countless team members, and built lasting friendships within the office. • Be able to practice and demonstrate confidentiality, sensitivity, empathy and integrity in all aspects of the role

• Excellent operating knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and EvolveGo (or similar)
• Victoria Legal Aid Atlas experience will be highly regarded
• Victoria Magistrates Court Efas lodgement also highly regarded
• Experience with dictation typing / Bighand
• Excellent keyboard skills
• Ability to work well in tight time frames
• Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders

Some of your duties will be:

• Dictaphone typing
• Accounts/billing duties
• Liaising effectively with clients, barristers, courts, prosecution, experts and informants via letter, email and/or telephone.
• Drafting/proof reading documents

• Victoria Legal Aid ATLAS processing
• Efas adjournments

• Knowledge of the criminal justice system advantageous 

The successful applicant must hold the following competencies:  Excellent communication skills, decision making skills, Initiative, quality approach to work and accuracy, resilience, motivation, time keeping, interpersonal sensitivity, problem solving skills with a flexible “can do” attitude towards your work and the ability to “think on your feet”.
